The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden

The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden

There are those who don’t get luck handed to them on a shiny platter, who end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, who don’t get saved.

Luck was not on Callie’s side the day of her twelfth birthday when everything was stolen from her. After it’s all over, she locks up her feelings and vows never to tell anyone what happened. Six years later her painful past consumes her life and most days it’s a struggle just to breathe.

For as long as Kayden can remember, suffering in silence was the only way to survive life. As long as he did what he was told, everything was okay. One night, after making a terrible mistake, it seems like his life might be over. Luck was on his side, though, when Callie coincidentally is in the right place at the right time and saves him.

Now he can’t stop thinking about the girl he saw at school, but never really knew. When he ends up at the same college as Callie, he does everything he can to try to get to know her. But Callie is reserved and closed off. The more he tries to be part of her life, the more he realizes Callie might need to be saved.

5 Million Earth Shattering, One of the best books ever Stars!!

My Review:
I don't even know where to begin with this amazing book. It is a 5 Super Star read for me. Everything about this book is perfection. The cover is hands down, in my opinion, the best cover I have ever seen. It fits this book to a "T".

This is one of the best books I have ever read, and I have read hundreds and hundreds of books, so that is saying something. Callie's story just rips at my heart. What happened to her is something I just can't even imagine. If I even try to imagine something like that happening to a 12 year old, on her birthday no less, I get the chills and I just want to cry. Talk about having your innocence stolen. My goodness!! With that said, I love Callie. I want to be her new best friend and hug her and stand by her side and make sure no one ever harms her again.

As for Kayden. My gosh, I heart him. I want to jump in my Nook and beat the everloving shit out of his father. I absolutely hate that low life, scum of the earth man and I hope one day he rots in hell.  I have never wanted to rescue someone so bad in my whole life as much as I want to rescue Callie and Kayden.

Have tissues handy when reading this book. Also, be prepared for a sleepless night. After reading this book, I struggled falling asleep because I kept replaying the book over and over in my mind. The ending tore me to pieces. I was literally sick to my stomach with tears streaming down my face. I was crying those big, ugly tears that give you the splotchy face.

This book is simply amazing and should not be missed. If this is on your TBR list, wait no further. The second book is out, so even with the cliffie, you are good to go now. I can't wait to read what happens next!

Jessica, you are freaking brilliant!
